Farah Lawal is an actress, poet, and playwright based in Washington, D.C. Farah actively performs in theatre, independent films, and commercials. Farah is a founding member of the theatre company, The Saartjie Project, whose work includes the original plays, Four Women and Deconstructing the Myth of the Booty, a show that toured various cities in the U.S. Farah's recent credits include Courage: A Political Theatre Revival (dog & pony dc), Native Son (American Century Theater), So Do You Love Me Yet? (a one-woman show that appeared in the Capital Fringe Festival), and 500 Clown and the Elephant Deal (University of Maryland).
